About Sikkim
Sikkim, the 22nd state of India, nestled in the northeastern part of the country, shares its borders with Bhutan (south-east), the Tibet Autonomous Region of China (northeast), Nepal (west), and the Indian state of West Bengal (south). Sikkim is the only and first fully organic state and one of the cleanest in the country. Sikkim is composed of different races and ethnic groups, namely the Lepchas, the Bhutias, and the Nepalese. This picturesque state boasts breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, rich biodiversity, and rare species, including India's highest mountain peak, Kanchenjunga (8,586m/28,170ft), the third highest on Earth.
