Gurudongmar Lake, also spelled Gurudogmar Lake, is a breathtaking high-altitude lake located in the northern part of the Sikkim. It is one of the highest lakes in the world and is situated at an elevation of approximately 17,800 feet (5,430 meters) above sea level. This pristine glacial lake is not only renowned for its stunning natural beauty but also holds great religious significance for both Buddhists and Hindus. The lake is 65 KM one side and takes 3 hour to reach from Lachen. The travellers need to begin journey from morning 6 AM to 7 AM from Lachen.
