Deolo Hills

Durpin Dara

Durpin Dara (Binacular HilI), is one of the two hills connected by a ridge that forms the town of Kalimpong. From the top, one can enjoy a beautiful view of the entire Kalimpong town, distant snow-covered Himalayan peaks of Sikkim and Jalepla Pass, the Teesta River,. There is also a beautiful golf course located near the summit, adding to its charm.

PIne View Nursery

Pine View Nursery is a private commercial nursery established in 1971 and is known for its exotic cactus collection. Spread over an area of 2 acres, it has over 1,500 species of cacti, carefully collected from around the world over four decades

Mangal Dham

Mangal Dham is a revered Hindu shrine in Kalimpong, West Bengal, honoring Guruji Shri Mangaldasji Maharaj. Founded by him in 1940, it is a religious and charitable organization established to serve the community, reflecting the value that “Service is religion”. The center, which operates facilities like the Seva Sadan Hospital and schools, also functions as a memorial and tourism spot.

Dr. Graham’s Home

Dr. Graham’s Homes founded in 1900 in Kalimpong, began as St. Andrew’s Colonial Homes to aid abandoned mixed-race children. It remains a vital co-educational institution, promoting character strength and dignity, celebrating 125 years in 2025

Tharpa Choling Monastery

Tharpa Choling Monastery is a Gelugpa Tibetan Buddhist institution located in Kalimpong, India. Founded in 1912, the monastery’s campus features several shrines, including the Ge-sar Lhagang (Chinese temple) and the Lu-Khang (temple of Naga). It operates under the direct supervision of the Dalai Lama Administration and follows regulations laid down by the 13th Dalai Lama
